Course details
Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day, 6 hours)
A regulated and nationally recognised qualification for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid in a range of emergency situations.
You will learn to manage an unresponsive casualty, CPR and AED use, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding, and minor injuries including cuts, grazes, bruises, splinters, minor burns and scalds. The course also covers the role of a first aider, infection control, consent, scene surveys and primary surveys.
Suitable for offices, service industries, the self-employed, factories, manufacturing, construction, distribution, agriculture, sports and outdoor pursuits.
First Aid at Work (18 hours)
Our 18 hour First Aid at Work course is designed for individuals who need to be a workplace first aider. Gain the skills and confidence to respond to a range of first aid emergencies.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (6 hours)
Learn how to administer first aid to infants and children, covering common childhood illnesses and injuries.
First Aid at Work Requalification (12 hours)
Ideal for businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider, and who need to requalify their existing certification.
Basic Life Support and AED (half day)
Covers Basic Life Support skills for adult CPR, including safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression-only CPR, CPR handover and choking.
